If the teeth in the posterior region of the upper jaw are lost for various reasons, some loss of bone volume may occur as a result of downward sagging in the sinus cavities. This situation poses a problem due to insufficient bone tissue when implant treatment is to be performed. For a long-lasting and successful implant treatment, in these areas where bone tissue is insufficient, new bone formation can be achieved by increasing the bone tissue in the area with sinus augmentation.
